Square Enix’s intent was made clear in its latest end-of-business-year earning report, after it was released for public viewing on May 13. A major point of the report was Square’s “medium-term business strategy progress,” where the company outlines its plans to hit its “medium-term earnings targets.” One way the company says it will do this is by strengthening its “IP ecosystem” by “cultivating robust IP,” opening new game studios and looking at possible acquisitions....

As seen in the trailer below, Square Enix’s The Quiet Man appears to be an FMV-playthrough styled game, and it sounds like it carries the theme that “silence rings the loudest”. Square Enix describes The Quiet Man as a project that’s capable of delivering “an immersive story driven cinematic action experience” tying together “high-production live action, realistic CG and pulse-pounding action gameplay.” It is then explained as “an adrenaline-fueled motion picture like experience which can be completed in one sitting”, possibly indicating a small dose of content....
