The incident garnered national attention and as a result, Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment on Thursday while her husband Mark McCloskey, who is running as a Republican candidate for the Missouri Senate, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, the Associated Press reported. Both of the McCloskeys are attorneys. “I’d do it again,” Mark McCloskey said after the hearing. “Any time the mob approaches me, I’ll do what I can to put them in imminent threat of physical injury because that’s what kept them from destroying my house and my family....

The survey conducted by the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution found 48 percent of respondents said they would vote for incumbent Republican Kemp. Forty-one percent said they would vote for Abrams, while 8 percent said they didn’t know who they would support. Spotify Is Hosting Its Own Virtual Concerts In a post on For the Record, Spotify announced that it is hosting five virtual concert experiences across the end of May and June 2021. In partnership with producer Driift, Spotify will organize these virtual concerts as ticketed experiences. Each virtual concert will be a 45-70 minute event, where the artist will perform fan favorite songs. Spotify says it has organized these “performance-style experiences” as a way to connect fans with their favorite artists....
