Add another “has become the first female” coaching milestone to this list. San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich, named coach of the Western Conference All-Star team, picked his assistant to help out in Toronto, according to NBA TV.

Hammon became the NBA’s first female assistant when hired by Popovich before last season. Then she was the first woman to be a head coach of an NBA summer league team, leading the Spurs team to the Las Vegas Summer League championship in the offseason.
Now, she’s an NBA All-Star coach.
