Popovich was given two technical fouls in succession in the second quarter of his team’s home game vs. the Mavericks. He was angry over officials giving the Mavs possession out of bounds even though the ball deflected off the knee of Dallas’ Yogi Ferrell.
This was Popovich’s second ejection of the season. He was tossed Nov. 2 in a Spurs loss to the Warriors.
